Help! I have a swollen face!
Please contact us over the phone immediately and speak to us.
What we commonly see with swollen faces is that there is some spreading of infection and may or may not have dental pain. However, facial swellings often mean severe dental infection, which commonly requires the tooth to be taken out or a root canal. Make sure you try to eat and keep hydrated. Take two over-the-counter pain killers (Panadol or Nurofen) before your appointment so you have something in your system for when our numbing wears off
Typically, we would provide an assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in our clinic.
If the condition is severe, we may refer to GPs or local hospital.
Please contact us as soon as possible for assessment
